Melissa Katherine is a rising star in the Auckland stand-up scene, known for her expressive and observational comedy. A two-time RAW Comedy Semifinalist (2020 & 2022) and Otago Capping Show alumnus, Melissa has been making waves with her unique perspective and engaging performances.

Before her success in stand-up, Melissa honed her comedic chops in sketch comedy, performing at the Otago University Capping Show and Wellington Fringe Festival. She also showcased her versatility in comedy dance with the Magniloquents at the 2007 Dance Your Socks Off Festival and its sequel, Tap That II: The Wreckoning.

In 2023, Melissa expanded her influence in the comedy world by producing suburban-based shows, launching Local Laughs in Titirangi. That same year, she was nominated for Outstanding Emerging Talent at the Dunedin Fringe Festival for her story-based stand-up show, The Apology.
